Three, 3-year terms, from July 1, 2025, to August 31, 2028

This committee provides advice to the Executive Committee on matters related to teacher employment and teacher on-call issues. Priority will be given to applicants currently teaching on call.

Advisor Committee members can expect to attend three meetings during the year, that occur during the school year, held in Vancouver at the BCTF offices. These meetings generally take place on a Friday and Saturday, with release time provided to the district for the workday, where applicable. In addition, members are expected to attend an orientation, as well as to facilitate at the Summer Leadership Conference each August, as well as BCTF zone meetings that occur twice a year on a Friday/Saturday. Members may be asked to attend other Federation events as a representative of the committee. These commitments are expected as part of participating on a committee. Travel and accommodation costs are covered.
