In accordance with Procedure 2.A.08, the Executive Committee is seeking active members interested in serving on the Resolutions Committee for the Annual General Meeting (AGM), including at least one member who identifies as Indigenous and one member who identifies as Black or a person of colour.
Role
The role of the AGM Resolutions Committee is to facilitate the business of the AGM by:
1. serving as a resource for the voting members of the AGM who wish to bring forward amendments, alternate wording, subsidiary motions, and new resolutions.
2. supporting the AGM chairpersons by providing voting members of the AGM with advice on the application of the AGM Standing Rules of Order, by-laws, policies, and procedures.
3. liaising with the Federation staff who work in the technology pit at the meeting and providing them with the wording of proposed amendments, alternate wording, subsidiary motions, and procedural motions that will be brought forward.
4. moving amendments to the agenda and the order of unfinished business, taking into account the priority order of AGM business.
5. assisting with the process of replacing voting cards and ballots/clickers, as necessary.
6. providing advice to the meeting as necessary.

The AGM will take place in Vancouver on March 15–18, 2025.
