Lesson activities to accompany the vignette "Home Front, Work Front” from the acclaimed Knowledge Network series; Working People: A History of Labour in British Columbia produced by Landrock Entertainment. The lesson examines the working life of at the Burrard Dry Dock during the Second World War, when women entered the workforce in unheard of numbers. Additional lesson material deals with photographic and poster material related to women’s roles in the war effort.
