This conference is co-sponsored by the BC Cooperative Learning PSA and SRCLE – a lower mainland group supporting social responsibility, social and emotional learning and social justice in education. This year’s theme is “all about engagement” focusing on practical skills and strategies for increasing student and staff engagement in learning.

Conference delegates will select from a rich array of exciting interactive workshops choices, focused on the key themes of engagement and social emotional learning. There will be workshop choices for elementary staff and also for secondary staff. Conference delegates will have a chance to connect with colleagues, browse displays, and will leave feeling refreshed and equipped with new strategies for student engagement

Keynote - Dr. Spencer Kagan

Dr. Spencer Kagan's keynote session will explore relationships, structures for engagement, cooperative learning, current brain research and the connections to social and emotional learning. Afterwards, Dr. Kagan will be offering breakout sessions for educators of adolescents.
