The Aboriginal Education Association (formerly known as First Nations Education Association FNEA) is a provincial specialist association of the BCTF.

Aboriginal Multi-Media Society publishes Aboriginal news and information. Their web site features a searchable online archives covering Aboriginal issues.

Assembly of First Nations site includes activities, meetings, contacts and background information on a variety of First Nations issues and topics.

Blueprint for the Future is a series of career fairs especially designed for Aboriginal youth from grades 10 to 12, and is a project of the National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation.

British Columbia Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation provides information on treaty negotiations, policy, and publications.

British Columbia Ministry of Education, Aboriginal Education Enhancements Branch develops policies and programs for aboriginal students in K-12.

BC Treaty Commission includes information about the commission and the treaty process.

First Nations House of Learning includes information about education and career opportunities.

First Nations Schools Association is a non-partisan organization committed to promoting First Nations control of education. The Web site includes online forums and job postings.

Indian and Northern Affairs Canada has an extensive site that covers legislation, treaties, and statistics.

Indigenous Governance Program is offered at the University of Victoria.

Indigenous People's Literature is "a non-profit educational resource and collaboration dedicated to the indigenous peoples of the world and to the enrichment it can bring to all people."

Many Voices, Common Cause: A report on the Aboriginal Leadership Forum on Early Childhood Development PDF file; Acrobat Reader required. sets out major concerns including underfunding, reporting procedures, lack of trained Aboriginal practitioners and program gaps.

Xwi7xwa Library, at the University of British Columbia, provides a comprehensive collection of research tools and Web links, including B.C. First Nations sites.
