Aboriginal Education
The BCTF is proud of the Aboriginal education program. As professionals, we accept and act on our broad responsibility to promote an education for decolonization. We do this in the interest of the Aboriginal children we teach. As a social justice union that advocates for social change, we address the Federation's Aboriginal education initiatives that focus on enhancement agreements, employment equity for Aboriginal teachers, racism, and colonization.
