Social Justice Newsletters

In 2005 the Social Justice Newsletter was created to raise awareness amongst members about the work of the Committee for Action on Social Justice. The committee was established in the Fall of 2004 with four action groups: Antiracism, Status of Women, Antipoverty and LGBTQ. Since then two more action groups have been added: Environmental Justice and Peace and Global Education. Each group has four members appointed by the BCTF Executive Committee. All 24 members meet as a whole several times a year and each action group also takes time in their smaller group to develop resources, many of these are available online. The Social Justice Newsletter provides an opportunity to highlight resources and the work of the action groups.

Issues of the Social Justice Newsletter for the last three years are available on the BCTF website here.
