Kootenay Park Lodge has 9 rustic log heritage cabins. Special features include kitchenettes in most cabins, family friendly cabins with two separate bedrooms, and their most popular cabin with one queen bed and a wood burning fireplace. Two newly built suites offer
granite counters in the kitchenette and bathroom, hardwood floors and a soaker tub. All cabins offer fabulous views of the Rocky Mountains and continental breakfast in the historic lodge building built in 1923 by the Canadian Pacific Railway. The lodge also offers lunch and dinner to
visitors and guests from 12-8 daily during July and August. In addition, there is a general store on site with information about the history of the area, plants and wildlife.
