The BCTF is a social justice union: an organization of professionals who advocate for social change that will enhance equity, security and safety, sustainability of communities, participation of citizens in social change, and access to opportunities for
personal growth and development. Our research uses a social justice lens to situate teacher experiences and perspectives within the broader historical and socio-political context.
