Research: Korean students in B.C. schools
The country with the largest number of international students in B.C. schools is Korea. The Korean Teachers’ Union and the BCTF have established a working relationship through the BCTF International Solidarity Program. Part of that includes working together on issues that arise for students from Korea in B.C. and for the schools that host the students.
The BCTF International Solidarity Program will be holding a focus group with teachers who currently have or recently had Korean students in their classes. The purpose of the focus group will be to identify issues that we want to explore with the Korean union. If you would like to be a part of the focus group, contact Leona Dolan at 604-871-2250 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
