Non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to serving the British Columbians living with epilepsy, and their families. They also work with educators and other organizations to build awareness about epilepsy-related issues, and to increase people's knowledge about the disorder and first aid.

A provincial program that provides comprehensive services to families with young deaf and hard of hearing children throughout B.C. We also provide consultation and training to other professionals working with deaf and hard of hearing children.

The CPABC has a family support worker on staff who specializes in accessibility and inclusion issues. We also sponsor monthly parent support group meetings. A non-profit organization with over 34 years of experience in the field of disabilities, providing individualized therapy and support services to children and youth in their homes and communities, specialized community living services and comprehensive vocational and support services for adults, and promoting successful community participation for individuals with disabilities.

They operate a pre-school with qualified American Sign Language trained instructors. They offer parents and guardians: counselling, library, newsletters, and social events. For educators and relevant professionals they offer books, videos, and other teaching materials specifically catered for deaf and hard of hearing children.

Delta Family Alliance has a group for parents of adults with special needs.

Their mandate is to provide information, support and disseminate research, provide and develop educational opportunities and clinical support to children and adults with Down Syndrome around B.C., their families and professionals working with them. Infant Development Programs in BC are designed to support families who are raising young children at risk for or with developmental delay or disabilities. They provide home visits, assessment and program planning as well as liaison with other families.

The KRF assists people with disabilities who need help the most –those who have fixed or limited incomes and find it difficult to deal with the costs associated with living with a disability. This group will provide technology which allows people with disabilities to live at home wherever possible.

POPARD is a Provincial Outreach Program providing information, personnel training and student consultation to school districts across the province. They do not provide direct support to parents, but parents can access our website (see URL above).
