WOW schedule for August 2010

  • Aug. 16 Today we will do our favourite ride – through the golf course trails, swan trails etc. to the Nexen Lands and back. Meet at Canadian Tire at 9 am.
  • Aug. 23 For this week’s ride we will meet at Canadian Tire at 9 am and ride to Valleycliffe, through the trails to the power site. Marie will lead this ride. Aug 30 Eleanor will be leading this ride. We will meet at the Adventure Centre to car pool – leaving at 9 am – to go to Burnaby for a ride on the greenways trail to Science World.

    WOW Trip

    The WOW trip this year is to Bellingham. We will stay at the Comfort Inn on Meridian for 4 nights – Sept 13-17. Please find a friend and book your own room; there is a block of rooms set aside until the 24th of Aug. Each day we will explore a section of Bellingham – on trails, quiet roadways or in marked bike paths. Be prepared for a ride when we arrive on Monday. Bring rain gear in case it gets wet/cold. We will try to ride regardless of weather.
