BCTF Website Content
The BCTF website has two major components -- a public website and a secure portal for members-only.
The website is very rich in content. There are thousands of pages covering a wide variety of subjects under the broad areas of education, labour, and social justice. The documents and databases accessible from our pages are organized by subject category as much as possible, and cross-referenced on appropriate pages.
All of the BCTF's regular publications are available online, including an extensive archive for research purposes.
The site includes searchable databases and a multimedia centre for audio and video files.
To facilitate more direct access to information, the content on the public site is targeted to three audiences— teachers, parents, and the media. Our headings across the top of the page include categories of interest to all audiences.
The secure BCTF member portal content is targeted to members and local officers. A secure login is required.

BCTF member portal (MyBCTF.ca)
MyBCTF is a secure area on the BCTF website for BCTF members only. We refer to it as the BCTF member portal.
In the last few years, many members have asked for a secure member-only portal, more use of electronic tools, opportunities for interaction and discussion in a non-public forum, and reduced paper use. MyBCTF is a major step forward in achieving those objectives. Members can login to the portal and register for BCTF events, change their membership profile information, access content targeted to members, and participate in online discussion forums.
The site search box and the A to Z Index on the public site are located on the top of every web page. The Quick Links drop down list connects you directly to popular topics.
Our Help page links you to the additional tools you need to navigate easily through the site.
The search feature in the member portal enables members to search for content in the portal only or search the entire BCTF website.
